Have you heard of Lake Retba? The lake, located in Senegal, has an incredibly high salt content that allows a certain kind of micro-algae to flourish there - specifically, a microalgae that colors the water....

 Can you imagine, spending your days on a cotton-candy cloud of water? Plenty do - the lake is veritable gold mine for salt-harvesters, who cover themselves in shea butter to protect their skin before diving to the lake's bottom to gather their goods.
